The following is an excerpt from an exchange by two people on
Facebook. The first person said, “… effective requires no moral imperative. The sooner you figure that out, the more effective you become…”

The second person replied, “That’s what everyone from Wall Street swindlers to Adolfo Hitler said. The sooner you figure that out, the more worthwhile your effectiveness becomes.”

It raises the question, in today’s society is power with out a moral or ethical compass acceptable?

And how does Fareed Zakaria and Jonah Lehrer fit into this?
